Snow

Last week, Vancouver had the first snow. Actually, it was the second time for me to see the snow in Vancouver. The first time is last winter. Last year, it did not snow a lot in New Westminster.

When we took the first and second pictures, it was begining to snow. It was not very cold for me because in my hometown, Beijing, it always snow in the winter. I used to the snow winter.

Although I noticed that the day after snowing was quite cold, I would like hang out with my friends. In winter, hot pot and the spicy food are the best for me. I like one of the hot pot restaurant which called "top gun" in Crystal mall because it is yummy and convenient for us to go there. In winter, if you do not want to go far away, and you still want to have the hot pot, there is the best place.

I also like Sichuan food. It is spicy, always; however, it can make people really warm all over the body. Therefore, it is a good way for people to eat the spicy food to defend the cold weather.

I know lots of people do not like snow and winter, but we should learn how to enjoy the snow!

The Effect Coming to Canada Had on Me

I have been in Canada for more than one year. I have to say that Canada effects me a lot. The most obvious is the education. It is well known that Canadian education has a huge different from Asian education. In China, we do not need to talk a lot in class. We just need to listen to the teachers and we do not need to spend lots of time after class because we spend most of time in school. Unlike Chinese education, the Canadian education is more flexible. In Canada, I do not have to stay in school all the time because the class time is very short, but I need more time to review and prepare for the class for the next day. On the other hand, we can talk so much in the class in Canada. We do not need to listen to everything from the teacher. If we got confused in the class, we can argue with the teacher. Students are very initiative in class. In contrast, Chinese class is opposite. I couldn't say which is good or not; in my opinion, good things and bad things always hand in hand. For me, I used to Canadian education.

*Rainy Saturday*

Last Saturday, I went to silverCity in Metrotown to watch the movie. It is good for us to have the entertainment indoors during the cold rainy days. I watched the movie that called "SKYLINE"(sounds like the nissan car: skyline GT-R,right?). It is a science fiction and thriller movie. It was happened in Los Angeles that one day, many extraterrestrials invaded the earth and they need to absorb human's brain. Many people were died; however, there were a small group of people still alive. These people wanted to escape from the extraterrestrials and beat up the extraterrestrials. Finally, all of them were eatten by the extraterrestrials. My friends and I were so confused about the ending because it was not exactlly said what happend in the end. Therefore, when the light on, we did not notice that the movie was finished. In general, the frams of the movie is awesome and fantastic, but the plot is so so. Consequently, if you are interested in the beautiful frams, you should go and watch it!

@My Hometown@

I was born in Beijing, which is the capital city in China. The life in Beijing has a lot of different of the life in Canada. The life in Beijing is very busy because the competition in Beijing is so big. If people want to earn more money, they have to work hard. There is a big different from Vancouver to Beijing is Beijing's nightlife is rich and varied. People worked in the daytime, but after 9:00 p.m. the excited time is begining! People like to go shopping or have some relax at night. In beijing, most of the shopping malls are closed after 11 p.m. and some of the shopping malls are open 24 hours. As a result, people can go shopping whenever they want. If people want to have some entertainment, they can go to night clubs and KTVs where open 24 hours. However, almost everywhere close at 9:00 p.m. in Vancouver. People like to stay at home instead of going out.

The food in Beijing is also different from the food from Vancouver. In Beijing, we would like to steam the food or saute the food; however, the food in Vancouver always be fried. We like the spicy food or some strong taste food, but in Vancouver, people like the mile taste food.

It is hard to say which life style is better. I love both of Beijing and Vancouver.

★winter time★

Today is the first day of winter time, so I decided to eat some spicy food with my friends that I can feel warm all over the body. At first, I went shopping in downtown; however, I found a Chinese restaurant which called "CHONGQING Restaurant". ChongQing is a province in China where food always spicy. Although the food is not 100% original, but I can guarantee that the food in this restaurant is so yummy!!! If someone like spicy food, you can go there and try!

After that, I took the photograph with Melanie. It is well know that girls' favourate is taking photographs.

I would like to download some interesting programs for my iphone.

If anyone use iphone and want to take photos like this picture, I suggest them to download the program called "Quad Camera". It not only can take four pictures together, but also can take eight pictures together. That is awesome for girls who like take some special pictures.

After that, we went to play pool. During the time of playing pool, I had a competition with my friend. We made a wager that the loser have to take off the shirt and take a picture. Finally, I won the game and my friend took off the shirt and took a picture. That was so fuuny! Even though it is already winter time and it is so cold all the time, my heart is always warm because my friends give me the love and make me warm.

☆PNE night☆

Last week, I went to PNE with my friends to celebrate the Halloween.



Unfortunately, it was raining on Saturday night. Even though it was raining outside, we still dressed Halloween uniform to PNE. Melanie dressed the sexy bunny suit and I dressed the Stitch pajamas.



Because of Halloween, PNE had so many special items to celebrate it. We went to several haunted houses; however, some of them were not sacred at all. Some of the haunted houses were really interesting; such as one of them was a labyrinth with lots of mirrors and the ghosts were just the
shadow of ourselves.




After we finished playing in PNE, my friends and I went to Richmond to have something to eat. In fact, this picture was taken in 3:00 a.m in the moring when I just finished eating. I could not image that I would dress the stitch pajamas to go shopping on Sunday! Actually, Sunday was the actually day of Halloween; therefore, dress the Halloween uniform was full of fun.

Although I am not a child any more, I still like Halloween and every festivals for kids.

❀Friends❀

Friends are very important to everyone, we can not live without friends. For me, there are three types of friends, they are close friends, good friends and normal friends.

1. Close Friends
I do not have so many close friends. I just have less than five close friends, but their position in my mind are as important as my family members. I can talk everything to my close friends. No matter what did I do for them, they always forgive me. Close friends are that I do not need to contact with them so often; however, when we talk to each other, we still like just to talk to each other yesterday. We do not care about each other's background because we are the close friend. When we are in trouble, we can help each other without thinking about the result and effects. For me, close friends are the friends for life. No one can replace my close friends forever.

2. Good Friends
I always go out with my good friends to have fun or something like that. When I face some difficulties, I can tell them and they can come up with the ideas for me to solve the problems. I share more happiness than sadness with them. I always care about their feelings. In fact, I do not like to tell everything for them because I do not want them to undertake my pressure.

3. Normal Friends
Normal friends are the people who I say hello when I see them. Sometimes, we can hang out with a group. Actually, I will never speak my secret to the normal friends because we do not know each other a lot. I seldom go out with my normal friends solo. If we were the classmates in school, maybe we can talk about the study for several times; in addition, it is hard for me to talk my life to each other.

Friendship is a part of everyone's life. We should always learn how to cherish the friendship and how to respect the friends.

Hello, this is Yoyo! Actually, I just translated my Chinese nick name to Yoyo.

I have been in Vancouver for 1 year. At first, I did not really like here because the life in Vancouver was so relax and so boring for me. In my hometown, the life is so busy that I could not used to the life here so quickly. However, after half a year, I began to love here gradually. As a result, I decided to stay here at least 5 years.

In fact, Vancouver has lots of places that you can go. I would like to go out in the early mornings such as 2:00 a.m. or something like that because I'd like the feel of the sunrise in the morning.

In Vancouver, I love shopping, watching movie and having dinner with my friends. Sometimes, I like to listen to the sound of rain drop the floor if I was so upset.

Anyway, I'm a outgoing person and I like to spend happy time with my friends in Vancouver.
